How to Edit Photos Using Android Phone
To edit a photo on your pure Android device, simply head over to Google Photos.
- Select the photo you want to manipulate – you’ll notice four icons at the bottom: left to right, Share, Edit, Google Lens, and Delete.
- Tap Edit to launch the tool that will allow you to alter the image.
- You can apply filters, vary colors and intensity of light, rotate and crop the photo, simply by choosing the four icons at the bottom.
Once you are happy with the result, tap Save Copy at the top right. Have fun experimenting!
How to edit photos on Samsung
To edit a photo on your Samsung phone, just head to the Gallery.
- Select the photo you want to alter: you will then notice five icons at the bottom: from left to right, Bixby Vision, Edit, Share, Share on Instagram and Delete.
- Tap Edit (the pencil icon) to launch the tool that will allow you to manipulate the image.
- The editor provided by Samsung is very comprehensive.
- You can rotate and crop the photo, apply filters and stickers, insert texts, change colors and intensity by switching from tab to tab with the five icons at the bottom.
As soon as you are satisfied with the result, select Save at the top right!
How to edit photos on Huawei
To edit a photo on your Huawei phone, head to the Gallery.
- Select the one you want to manipulate – you’ll notice five icons at the bottom, Share, Favorites, Edit, Delete and More, for advanced features.
- Choose Edit to launch the tool that will allow you to alter the image.
- You can rotate, crop, apply filters, blur, create mosaics and much more with the Huawei editor, which proves to be a powerful yet intuitive tool.
Once you are happy with the result, tap the floppy icon in the top right.
How to edit photos on Xiaomi
To edit a photo on your Xiaomi mobile, all you have to do is head to the Gallery.
- Choose the photo you want to edit – you’ll notice five icons at the bottom, Share, Edit, Favorite, Edit, Delete and More for advanced features.
- Tap Edit (the magic wand icon) to launch the tool that will allow you to alter the image. Xiaomi also provides a full editor.
- You can crop the image, apply stickers, filters, add text, frames and much more. As soon as you are satisfied with the result, tap the Save button at the bottom right.

Not happy with the tools in your device’s Gallery? No problem. You can download tons of applications from the Play Store that will allow you to edit your photos in different ways.
