Microsoft Windows runs a lot of background processes to make sure that a computer running the OS works well.
A lot of people don’t see these kinds of things.
However, sometimes these processes start taking up more CPU and RAM space.
One of them is called MoUSO.
Several people have had problems with this process:
Uses a lot of CPU.
Uses a lot of space.
Uses a lot of memory.
Excessive use of RAM

MoUSO Core Worker Process File
A process called “MoUSO Core Worker Process” is a Windows process that runs in the background when Windows checks for new updates.
Version 1903 of Windows 10 was the first time Microsoft used this process.
So, if you have any version of Windows 10 before 1903, you might not be able to find it in the ‘Task Manager.’
This process works with the following executable and DLL files:
USOCoreWorker.exe
USOClient.exe
USOapi.dll
USOcoreps.dll
USOsvc.dll
This process is important because it keeps the system safe from threats by making sure the system is up to date.
However, it also wakes up your system from sleep all the time, and you’ll often see the fan running or LED lights blinking because it can’t figure out how to update.
If this process is taking up too much of your computer’s resources or you don’t want your computer to wake up, you should stop it.
How to solve the MOUSE Core Worker Process Issue
The first thing to do is to run the Windows Update Troubleshoot tool.
You can run Windows Update Troubleshoot to fix the problem with usocoreworker.
You should know that this solution won’t stop the usocoreworker.exe process, so you should pay attention to that.
You can do that:
Step 1: Press the Windows key and I key at the same time to open the Settings app.
Step 2: Then, go to the Troubleshoot tab, and choose Windows Update from the list there.
Way 2: Use the Registry Editor to make changes to the registry.
If you want to stop the USO Core Worker Process with Registry Editor, you can do that too.
This is a list of the very specific steps you need to do.
To open the Run box, press the Windows + R keys at the same time, and then click OK.
It then opens the Registry Editor, so type regedit in it to get to it.
Step 2: Find the path that goes there.
It tells you how to stop MOUSE Core Worker Process.
If the USOCoreWorker.exe process is taking up too much CPU or making your computer overheat, you can stop it.
You can do that by going to the Services app.
Here are the facts:
Search for “services” in the search box. Then, choose the best match to open it.
When you get to Step 2, scroll down and look for “Update Orchestrator Service.”
Then, right-click it and choose Stop.
Don’t worry about it.
MoUsoCoreWorker.exe is a legit file that can be used.
As we’ve talked about, MoUsoCoreWorker.exe is a valid Microsoft file and process.
Make sure that the file is running from the C:/Windows/System32 folder. Make sure that the Windows Update service is running.
We can be sure that it is not a copycat file if we check the location.
