HOW FAZE KAY WAS REMOVED?
FaZe Kay was expelled from the organization after some controversy concerning bitcoin, as FaZe implied in their statement.
These digital assets have exploded in popularity over the last few years, with many social media influencers pushing cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum.
FaZe Kay has been interacting with and pushing the alt currency ‘Save The Kids’ in recent weeks and was accused of scamming his fans, which resulted in his expulsion from FaZe Clan.
According to the charges, FaZe Kay purposefully ‘pumped’ the currency, spending large sums of money and encouraging others to do the same.
Then, he reportedly ‘dumped’ his shares, causing the coin’s value to plummet, resulting in significant losses for many investors.
FAZE KAY MADE AN APOLOGY ON TWITTER
FaZe Kay has been silent since his expulsion from FaZe Clan, although he did turn to Twitter a few days ago to issue a public apology and refute the claims.
“I want everyone to understand that I have no malice in supporting any crypto alt currency.
I honestly and stupidly believed that we all had an equal chance of winning, which is not the case.
I didn’t vet any of this with my faze kay, which I now realize I should have,” he tweeted on June 27th.
He subsequently said he “still has a lot to learn” about cryptocurrency and added, “It was very foolish of me to talk publicly about any currencies without understanding more and now knowing that they may cause more damage than good.”
“I’m genuinely dealing with the knowledge that I’ve disappointed you all, and more significantly, everyone whose confidence I’ve betrayed.
“My fans mean the world to me, and without you, I would not be where I am today,” he said.
