Eventually, all Vizio TVs have the same problem: They won’t turn on at all.

You should be able to turn on the TV by unplugging it or taking out the remote battery. Then, click the Menu button.
“System” should be in the menu. If it isn’t, look for “System.”
“Reset & Administration” and “Reset TV to Factory Defaults” are on the next page, so look there.
Sometimes, the Vizio TV will ask for a code before it can be turned off.
If it does, the default code is 0000.
This will bring your Vizio TV back to the settings it had when you bought it.

If for some reason you don’t have your TV’s remote, you can still factory reset your Vizio TV and get it back to how it was.
Find the power button on your TV to do this.
The right-left, or bottom of the device may have this on it. It depends on the model you have, but it could be there.
It’s best to do this while your TV is on, so you can press and hold down both volume and source at once.
Soon after, your TV will tell you to press and hold the input button for a while.
It is time to move the power cord behind the Vizio TV.
It might also help if you unplug the power cord from the back of your TV.
Then plug it back in again after about 60 seconds or so.
As soon as you plug it back in, make sure the connection is strong and safe
Make sure this doesn’t move at all. A tight connection is important to make sure that the TV gets steady power.
With the power cord back in, use the TV power button to turn on the TV, not the remote!
There is a chance that you will see the TV come back to life.
It might be better to use a different plug for power.
If you haven’t had any luck up until this point, I would try plugging your Vizio TV into a different power outlet in your home.
Sometimes outlets have a short or a blown fuse, but we don’t know it because we don’t pay attention.
If you don’t want to move your TV, you could plug another small appliance into the outlet you want to use for your TV.
In this case, you know that the outlet is working because you can see the device start-up. This isn’t likely your problem.
Again, this isn’t likely to be the problem, but it’s still a good way to figure out what’s wrong. It should be quickly ruled out as a suspect.
Replacement of the power supply
Try taking the TV’s power supply out and taking it to a repair shop if nothing else works.
In order to do this, you should check to see if your TV’s standby light is on.
The power supply board may be working and this step should be skipped if this is true, so don’t do it.
If there is no power and no standby light, this means your power board is either broken or dead.
This could be caused by a power surge.
If you have a Vizio TV, it’s not uncommon for its power supply to be faulty or weak. The good news is that it only costs about $65 to fix (if you’re willing to remove it yourself).

Check the Vizio TV’s warranty before you buy it.
If you can’t get your Vizio TV to turn on, you should see if you have a warranty on it.
Before they fix or replace your TV, you have to tell them what the problem is and whether or not it is covered by the warranty.
if this turns out to be covered by your warranty, they even come to your house to help you out.
